YOGA ADVISER PROGRAM
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Yoga Advisor Program is to identify your goals and guide you towards classes, teachers and types of yoga best suited to your needs. We also understand that yoga can be intimidating but even the most advanced yogis have once asked "should I wear socks?" Feel free to ask me anything. Teachers may use unusual terms or reference body parts you didn't know you had. A yoga adviser can help you feel comfortable and guide you through unfamiliar territory. My purpose extends beyond helping students find the right class. I am here to welcome you into our community. I want to get to know you, discover what brought you to yoga, pinpoint any physical limitations and understand what you are hoping to accomplish.

GETTING STARTED
Getting started with your personal Yoga Adviser is simple. Contact me with any questions or I will reach out to you after your first class. The Yoga Advisor Program is free for all of our students, because we want you to develop a yoga practice that helps you "BE GOOD TO YOU".

NEW STUDENT GUIDE
1. Visit www.yogacountry.com to access our current class schedule, purchase class passes, and sign up for classes or workshops. Although our classes are designed to support all levels of practice, we routinely offer a Yoga Basics Class. Please check our schedule for dates and times and be sure to pre-register for this particular class.

2. Arrive at least 15 minutes early. Always sign in at the front desk, even if you have made an online reservation.

3. Practice on an empty stomach. Do not eat 2 hours prior to yoga practice.

4. Dress appropriately. Wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothing. We do have a dressing room if needed. Please bring your own water bottle.

5. Purchase a yoga mat. Mats are available to borrow at no charge; however we ask that you bring a towel to clean your mat before and after your practice.

6. Remove your shoes before entering the studio. Leave your shoes in the cubbies located in the studio lobby. Additional cubbies are available inside the studio for your valuables.

7. Turn off your cell phone. If you must keep your phone on, please put it on silence.

8. Notify the teacher of current or prior injuries or medical conditions. This helps the teacher know how to assist you and make modifications.

9. Practice often. 4-6 times per week for maximum benefit. 2-3 times per week will show improvement for most students within three months.

10. BE GOOD TO YOU!
